Job Title: Night Shift Phlebotomist
Department: Laboratory
Shift: 4x10 hour night shifts, schedule may vary.
Role: Draw blood from a diverse patient population in various units including ICU and ER.
Requirements:
• Proficient in handheld collection devices
• 2+ years experience in blood bank, hospital, and Trauma I settings
• BLS, CPT, CPT I (California) certifications
Preferred:
• Experience in pediatric settings, clinics, outpatient labs
Additional:
• May need to float between similar units
• Block scheduling possible
• Local candidates preferred
• Time off requests to be included at submission
• Guaranteed hours with potential for one call off per two•week period
• Facility uses Epic for charting
• Free parking provided, assignment parking given during orientation
• Preferred scrub color: navy blue or solid color
Note: Role not suitable for first•timers or those with pending licenses.
